The CMS3D2XX circuit is a high-current, highly reliable half-bridge driver designed using multi-chip packaging technology. The high-side power transistor uses a P-channel VDMOS, while the low-side power transistor uses an N-channel VDMOS. The internal logic control and gate drive circuits for the power transistors are implemented using a BCD process, providing the functionality of the half-bridge driver circuit.
This half-bridge driver circuit is controlled by two input signals that control the switching of the high-side and low-side power transistors. The control method is PWM/EN control. The circuit includes a dynamic dead-time adjustment feature that ensures the low-side power transistor is only turned on after the high-side power transistor has truned off, and vice versa. The maximum operating voltage of the half-bridge driver circuit is 40V, and the package type is SOP8, with a continuous current capability of 5A.
This series of circuits supports zero standby power consumption. The circuit is activated by a high-level pulse on the EN signal, with a startup delay of approximately 30μs. When the EN signal remains low for more than 122ms, the circuit enters a zero standby current mode.
